Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between calendar days and working days?
Calendar days count every day including weekends and public holidays. Working days exclude weekends and — when a country is selected — country-specific public holidays. Adding 5 calendar days to a Monday gives Saturday; adding 5 working days gives the following Monday.
Which countries are supported for working days?
192 countries with correct weekend rules — most use Sat/Sun, Middle Eastern countries use Fri/Sat, Brunei uses Fri/Sun. Public holiday data covers 2026 and 2027.
What if my result falls outside 2026–2027?
For years outside our data range, working days are calculated using weekend rules only. A warning is displayed when this applies. Calendar mode works for any date.
Is the start date counted?
No. Counting starts from the day after (or before) the start date. Adding 1 calendar day to Monday 1 Jan gives Tuesday 2 Jan.
