How is the business day deadline calculated?
The calculator counts forward from the day after your start date, skipping weekends and country-specific public holidays, until it reaches the required number of business days. The last day counted is your deadline.
Is the start date counted as a business day?
No — counting starts from the day after the start date. Starting on Monday with 5 business days gives the following Monday (assuming no public holidays).
Which weekend rules are applied?
Most countries use Sat-Sun. Middle Eastern countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.) use Fri-Sat. Brunei uses Fri-Sun. The correct rule is applied automatically from the selected country.
What if a public holiday falls on a weekend?
Public holidays on weekends are already excluded as weekend days and are not additionally skipped. Only weekday public holidays are deducted and listed.
What years are covered?
Public holiday data covers 2026 and 2027. Beyond these years, weekend rules are applied but public holidays cannot be excluded. A warning appears when this applies.
