Mexico moved several of its civic holidays to Mondays by constitutional reform in 2006, so Constitution Day, Benito Juarez Day, and Revolution Day now always produce long weekends regardless of their historical dates. The statutory week allows 48 hours, and six-day patterns remain common outside office work.
